The Impact of COVID-19 for Learners with SEND: The Good and the Bad

An exciting additional SEND event introduced in response to COVID-19.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited to be bringing you this additional SEND Seminar in February 2021. With our educationally renowned keynotes speakers originally booked for the 2020 SEND conference, we are sure this half day seminar will provide you with uplifting and expert insights.

Dr Rona Tutt, is an inspirational school leader and advocate for SEND, and her well respected writing and speaking will set the tone for the day. She will provide up to date information on SEND and Emotional Wellbeing, which will include how to meet the expectations on schools and staff, during and after COVID-19 as well has how to create a collaborative team across SEND and Mental Health.

We also have Fintan O'Regan who will deliver relevant, interesting and challenging viewpoints of SEND which includes how to support the inclusive learning, behavioural and socialisation needs of both traditional and non-traditional learners in these most interesting times through Structure, Flexibility, Rapport Relationships and Resilience.

His work has helped to provide clarity, empathy and understanding of our most vulnerable learners.
