School Attendance Workshop

These two hour, virtual workshops are aimed at providing a networking opportunity for experienced and newly appointed attendance staff within schools in Devon. They will focus on practical issues rather than strategic/policy areas.
Training Objectives
In addition to providing a remote networking opportunity, advice and guidance will be provided covering:
- Recent/updated guidance from the Department for Education
- A review of the latest attendance/absence data, both nationally and locally
- Good practice relating to attendance practice
- Other current national and/or local issues
As always, there will be an opportunity to have a Q & A session in order to answer any attendance related questions not covered by the above.
