Moving and Handling of Children with Physical Difficulties - Refresher

Suitable for any staff working with a child or young person who has Physical/Movement difficulties and has undertaken the Initial course 12-18 months ago.

Half day refresher course for those who have trained in Moving and Handling previously (refresher recommended annually).

Suitable for any staff working with a child or young person who has Physical/Movement difficulties and has undertaken the Initial course 12-18 months ago. (Not suitable for those working with children who have emotional or behavioural difficulties requiring physical interventions.)

To allow free unrestricted movement please wear loose comfortable clothing and flat enclosed non slip shoes - trainers are ideal.
Please bring up to date examples of handling plans and risk assessments.
Please consider car sharing and publc transport - parking can be limited.

You are required to pay a small contribution through the DEL Digital Learning training website and then the Early Years & Childcare Service will fund the remainder of the cost.
