2021 Safeguarding conference aims to flip adversity into positivity. Let’s reset our thinking and use the lockdown learning and our knowledge of current and emerging pandemic safeguarding themes to enhance our safeguarding practice.
Through expert keynotes and practical workshops we will explore sex, grooming and online safety, Early Help, ACEs and the safeguarding impact of Covid 19 from Ofsted.
workshops will build upon the response by settings and agencies to pandemic safeguarding challenges and help those attending review and reset their current practice moving into the ‘new normal’. You will be asked to reflect on what we know now that we didn’t a year ago, what to expect in the future, how we have responded, what has worked well (and why) and what processes and structures we are we going to take with us and embed to further support our vulnerable children and families. This conference will also provide take away strategies and signposting for professionals working with children and young people to ensure we are all proactive in our safeguarding duty. Expertly delivered sessions will ensure you leave the event feeling inspired, positive and reinvigorated to continue to safeguard children.
